On 29 November 2024, a bank processing error occurred, resulting in the duplication of inward transaction records affecting BPAY Biller reporting. The duplicated transactions are data only and do not have value associated with them.

ANZ performed remediation activities to reverse the transactions on the same day (29 November 2024). No further BPAY Reporting issues have occurred since.

Whilst the End of Day File is a true representation of the settlement value processed for the day, some customers may observe multiple reporting items for the same transaction.
